Course Structure
Our German Online Group Course is divided into four progressive levels: A1, A2, B1, and
B2. Each level focuses on essential language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and
writing—to prepare you for Goethe or TELC exams. With small group classes, you’ll receive
personalized attention, interactive learning, and plenty of opportunities to practice and apply
your skills in real-life situations.
Level
A1, A2, B1, B2
We offer group classes for all levels. You will be sorted into classes after taking a placement test.
A1: Beginner Level
Goal: Basic understanding of German for simple communication in everyday situations.
Duration: 8 weeks (approx. 60-80 hours).
A1: Beginner Level
Course Content
- Alphabet, pronunciation, and greetings.
- Numbers (0–100).
- Introducing yourself: Name, nationality, age.
- Family, professions, countries, and languages
- Everyday items, colors, shapes, and sizes
- Personal pronouns (ich, du, er/sie/es)
- Articles (der, die, das/ein, eine)
- Present tense (regular and irregular verbs)
- Sentence structure: Word order (SVO)
- Negation with nicht and kein
- Food and drinks: Ordering in cafes/restaurants
- Shopping (prices, quantities, items)
- Time: Days, months, seasons, telling time
- Weather basics
- Roleplays: Introducing yourself, asking directions, simple conversations
- Short listening comprehension exercises
- Mock A1 exam with practice in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
A2: Elementary Level
Goal: Communicate in predictable, everyday situations with confidence.
Duration: 8 weeks (approx. 80-100 hours).
Course Content
- Hobbies, daily routines, and travel.
- Home, furniture, and surroundings.
- Health and illnesses.
- Accusative and dative cases.
- Modal verbs (können, müssen, dürfen, sollen).
- Past tense: Perfekt (haben/sein + participles).
- Separable and inseparable verbs.
- Comparative and superlative forms.
- Small talk: Weather, events, and entertainment.
- Making plans and appointments.
- Visiting a doctor, shopping, and asking for help.
- Roleplays: Travel bookings, appointments, emergencies.
- Discussions on simple everyday topics.
- Short emails, postcards, and simple formal letters.
- Timed A2 practice tests for all skills
B1: Intermediate Level
Goal: Independent communication in familiar situations and understanding key points of conversations.
Duration: 8 weeks (approx. 100-120 hours)
Course Content
- Travel, experiences, and holidays.
- Work, education, and career plans.
- Social topics: Family, relationships, and personal interests.
- Reflexive verbs.
- Subordinate clauses (weil, dass, wenn, obwohl) .
- Past tense: Perfekt and Präteritum.
- Relative clauses and adjective endings.
- Future tense (Futur I).
- Presentations on personal topics.
- Simulating interviews, phone calls, and discussions.
- Formal/informal letters, emails, and short essays.
- News, environment, and current trends.
- Expressing opinions, wishes, and plans.
- Simulated B1 Goethe/TELC exam practice (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
B2: Upper-Intermediate Level
Goal: Express yourself fluently, understand complex texts, and communicate effectively in a variety of situations.
Duration: 12 weeks (approx. 120-150 hours).

- Passive voice (all tenses)
