We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead and evolve the technological backbone of all our initiatives.
Role Overview
As CTO, you’ll shape and implement our technology vision across education, service delivery, infrastructure, and community impact. You’ll oversee our digital learning platforms, software systems, website and application development, IT operations, and innovation strategies.
You’ll collaborate with instructors, developers, marketers, drivers, and community workers to ensure tech is seamlessly integrated into every aspect of what we do.
Key Responsibilities
At HIGHUPWEB Academy:
Oversee the development and optimization of e-learning platforms and LMS tools.
Lead curriculum technology updates for courses in Web Development, Digital Marketing, Cybersecurity, etc.
Research and integrate emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Data Analytics) into training programs.
Manage virtual labs, software licenses, and cloud-based classroom environments.
Support instructors in using EdTech tools effectively.
At HIGHUPWEB (Agency):
Supervise website design and software development teams working on client projects.
Review and improve web development standards, code quality, and cybersecurity best practices.
Ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of client websites (WordPress, AWS, etc.).
Contribute to digital strategy for client success (SEO, web performance, automation tools).
At Highupweb Driving School:
Lead the integration of online theory modules and booking systems.
Develop or manage platforms for student enrollment, records, and feedback.
Use technology to enhance training safety and compliance (e.g., GPS tracking, mobile apps).
At Highupweb Foundation:
Leverage technology to increase reach and efficiency of outreach programs.
Implement digital solutions for fundraising, volunteer coordination, and reporting.
Build scalable platforms for scholarship management and community engagement.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader (5+ years).
Strong background in software/web development, system architecture, and IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with EdTech tools, CMS platforms (especially WordPress), cloud services (AWS), and DevOps practices.
Passion for education, community empowerment, and innovation.
Great leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
Bonus Points For
Experience with LMS systems like Moodle, Google Classroom, or custom platforms.
Knowledge of driving school software or logistics platforms.
Working with nonprofits or social enterprises using tech for impact.
Fluency in French and English.
