Learning without playing or relaxing makes Jack a dull boy. This is a common saying that almost everyone has heard. In a bid to make our students come out of the learning environment, we decided to have a football encounter against the JOSS HIGHER INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (JIMIT).
On Saturday the 4th of February 2023, at the Mateco football stadium in the University of Yaounde 1, HIGHUPWEB ACADEMY team played a football encounter against JIMIT INSTITUTE. This match slated to start at 8AM finally began at 9Am due to some unforeseen circumstances. It was not an easy encounter as three minutes into the start of the game JIMIT crossed their opponents defense and scored the first goal of the match. Not losing hope, 15 minutes later, HIGHUPWEB ACADEMY team equally crossed their opponents defense and scored their first goal. The match finally ended 1:1.
It should be noted that the aim of this encounter was first to enable our students to relax their brains, exercise, and secondly help us network with students of the other school, building relationships that will help in the professional milieu. It was a great experience for us as a school and even as individuals.
JOSS HIGHER INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (JIMIT) is a professional school located at Chateau NgoaEkele, which has been responding to the growing need of Cameroonians by providing quality education in different professional domains like, management, administration, information and technological science and health. It was a great honor and opportunity to network and even play against this prestigious school, and not letting our guards down, we will continue bringing up other sporting activities against other schools in and around yaounde, in order to network more, and build stronger relationships.
